1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User," "you," or "your") and Huostarter Education ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"), a Finnish educational technology organization (Registration Number: 21068114), concerning your access to and use of the website https://huostarer.com and related services, including our holographic learning platform and GEO FI technology integration.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use our services. If you are between 13 and 18 years old, you may only use our services with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian. By using our services, you represent and warrant that you meet these eligibility requirements.

3. Account Registration

To access certain features of our platform, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
• Maintain and promptly update your account information
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access or security breaches

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or provide false information.

4. License and Access

4.1 Limited License

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use our platform for personal, educational purposes. This license does not include:

• Commercial use without our written permission
• Modification, copying, or distribution of platform content
• Reverse engineering or attempting to extract source code
• Removing copyright or proprietary notices

4.2 Restrictions

You agree not to:

• Use our services for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Interfere with or disrupt the platform or servers
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any systems or networks
• Upload viruses, malware, or other malicious code
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users
• Impersonate any person or entity
• Collect or harvest user information without permission
• Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) without authorization

5. Educational Services

5.1 Service Description

Huostarter Education provides:

• Holographic learning interfaces and immersive educational experiences
• GEO FI technology integration for decentralized credential verification
• Adaptive learning systems powered by AI and machine learning
• Access to educational content, courses, and resources
• Collaboration tools and community features

5.2 Service Availability

We strive to maintain continuous service availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of our services at any time without notice. We are not liable for any interruption or termination of services.

5.3 Educational Credentials

Credentials, certificates, and educational records issued through our platform are subject to verification through our GEO FI blockchain system. While we maintain high standards, we do not guarantee that credentials will be accepted by all institutions or employers. Users are responsible for verifying acceptance requirements with relevant parties.

6. Payment Terms

6.1 Fees and Billing

Certain services require payment of fees. By subscribing to paid services, you agree to:

• Pay all applicable fees as described at the time of purchase
• Provide current, complete, and accurate billing information
• Authorize us to charge your payment method for recurring subscriptions
• Pay any applicable taxes in addition to stated fees

6.2 Subscription Renewals

Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled before the renewal date. You will be charged the then-current rate for your subscription tier. We will provide reasonable notice of any fee increases.

6.3 Refunds

Refund eligibility is governed by our separate Refund Policy. Generally, refunds are not provided for partially used subscription periods or digital content that has been accessed.

7. Intellectual Property Rights

7.1 Our Content

All content on our platform, including text, graphics, logos, images, videos, software, and holographic interfaces, is the property of Huostarter Education or our licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Our distinctive neon blue and green design aesthetic is part of our protected brand identity.

7.2 User-Generated Content

When you submit content to our platform (assignments, projects, forum posts), you:

• Retain ownership of your content
• Grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, and display your content for platform operation and improvement
• Represent that you have rights to submit the content and it doesn't infringe third-party rights
• Agree we may remove content that violates these Terms or applicable laws

8. Privacy and Data Protection

Your use of our services is subject to our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. We collect, use, and protect your information as described in the Privacy Policy. By using our services, you consent to our data practices.

9. GEO FI and Blockchain Technology

Our GEO FI integration uses blockchain technology for credential verification and educational record management. You acknowledge that:

• Blockchain transactions are generally irreversible
• We are not responsible for blockchain network issues beyond our control
• You are responsible for securing your blockchain credentials and keys
• Geographic-based features may collect and use location data as described in our Privacy Policy

10. Third-Party Links and Services

Our platform may contain links to third-party websites, services, or resources. We do not endorse or assume responsibility for third-party content, privacy policies, or practices. Your interactions with third parties are solely between you and the third party.

11. Disclaimers

OUR SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, OR COURSE OF PERFORMANCE.

We do not warrant that:

• Our services will meet your specific requirements
• Services will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free
• Results obtained from using our services will be accurate or reliable
• Quality of any products, services, or information obtained will meet your expectations

12. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, HUOSTARTER EDUCATION SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES RESULTING FROM:

• Your access to or use of (or inability to access or use) our services
• Any conduct or content of third parties on our platform
• Unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your content or data
• Any other matter relating to our services

Our total liability for all claims arising from your use of our services shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim or €100, whichever is greater.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Huostarter Education, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, agents, and licensors from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from:

• Your violation of these Terms
• Your use or misuse of our services
• Your violation of any rights of another party
• Your content submitted to the platform

14. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to services immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including breach of these Terms. Upon termination:

• Your right to use the services will immediately cease
• We may delete your account and content
• You remain liable for all fees incurred prior to termination
• Provisions intended to survive termination will remain in effect

15. Dispute Resolution

15.1 Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Finland, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

15.2 Arbitration

Any dispute arising from these Terms or our services shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with Finnish arbitration rules, except where prohibited by law. The arbitration shall take place in Alvinafurt, VIC, Finland.

15.3 Class Action Waiver

You agree that disputes will be resolved individually and waive any right to participate in class action lawsuits or class-wide arbitration.

16. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of material changes by:

• Posting updated Terms on our website with a revised effective date
• Sending notification to your registered email address
• Displaying prominent notice on the platform

Your continued use of services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

17. General Provisions

17.1 Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

17.2 Assignment

You may not assign or transfer these Terms or your account without our prior written consent. We may assign our rights and obligations without restriction.

17.3 Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Refund Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Huostarter Education regarding our services and supersede all prior agreements.

17.4 No Waiver

Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be deemed a waiver of such right or provision.
